About me

A bit long but necessary introduction that still shows but a glimpse!

Hi, this is Tahiea, an aspiring Business Analyst and Development Sector enthusiast. I am looking for opportunities where I can blend these two interests and have personal growth along the journey.
I completed my Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2022 from premier Business School in Bangladesh - Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka. My courses included statistics, macro/micro economics, quantitative analysis, and operations management. They helped me create a solid foundation in basic analytics and statistical concepts (including Hypothesis testing, ANOVA, Chi-square test, Bayesian theories, regression analysis). I have also self learned python for EDA (Exploratory Data Analysis), PowerBI and basic ML models. Please see Projects for demonstration.

My end goal is to be a Business Analyst who can make meaningful contributions in society through facilitating social businesses.

Since the start I have been gravitated towards data and social entrepreneurship. My course projects and competition materials reflect that. Two such significant journeys are AI Based Dengue Control & Monitor system which won 2nd prize in Microsoft Azure Hackathon 2022 and UNDP Hackathon..

I am currently working as a Customer Growth Consultant at JustGo Technologies Limited - a leading SAAS provider on sports membership management system operating worldwide. My role here encompasses consultancy, data manipulation and cross-department collaboration. This is my first full time job and these exposures are making me better skilled at people management and problem solving.

Besides my professional life, I enjoy reading books, art, and especially working for the underserved community. I co-lead a project named Library Project in an NGO called Agami Education Foundation. Our project started in 2019 and till now we have reached around 2000 underprivileged students aiming to improve their reading fluency and their reading habit. I love to look at the bigger picture, high level planning and meticulous execution of ideas and have been involved in many extra curricular activities since my childhood.

I acknowledge that my academic performance may not be flawless. I am diagnosed with ADHD and not good at memory based exam systems. However, my CGPA of 3.0 reflects my consistent dedication and ability to thrive in this challenging academic setting. I bring a collaborative spirit, creativity, a passion for challenges, and a dedication to collective growth. I've thrived alongside some of the brightest minds, both getting inspired by them and motivating my peers in turn. With my unique blend of academic and professional experiences, I'm confident in my ability to contribute anywhere I go.

Being in the lead position of a project, I am honored to be able to contribute the overall development of AEF as well. Making change is not easy. The resistance comes from your own people. My next challenge? Break through the inertia and focus on building brand image of AEF in Bangaldesh.

    Art in Life

Humans are slaves to pretty stuff. They need to be part of something pretty in order to survive. You couple that with the individual idiosyncrasies of a human – art is created. I found mine in colors and sketches. Art helps me relieve my stresses by giving me a sense of power, freedom and validation – just like the core function of any hobby.
My favourite type of art is abstract in acrylic or oil medium. If I want to create a more specific visual I choose digital medium for its kindness and offer of flexibility for beginner artists!

    Photography

Struggles of life aside, the world is infinitely beautiful. And each person is part of his own story. I love the nature and I love people in their everyday candid moments.
